Chitwan Riverside Resort Pvt. Ltd. (Jungle Safari Resort)

Chitwan Riverside Resort is one of the best resorts in Chitwan. It is located on the right bank of the Rapti River adjacent to the Royal Chitwan National Park, reflecting a beautiful view of the National Park from South to East. We offer best lodging facilities in a reasonable price, which consists of simple style thatched twin bedded huts with attached bathrooms, shower facility using solar powered hot water in winter season.

The Chitwan National Park, the most well known among Nepal’s wildlife reserve is situated 120 km South West of Katmandu. The park is one of the finest wildlife preserved areas in Asia and extends over an area of 932 Sq. km. It is covered by Sal forests, tall elephant grass and is home to rare wildlife such as one-horned Rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger, Leopard, Sloth bear, four species of deer, wild boar, Gharial ( Crocodile ), monkeys, pythons, fresh water dolphin and many other animals. More than 450 species of birds (residents and migratory) are recorded. The Park has also been inscribed as a World Natural Heritage Site by UNESCO since November 1984.

PACKAGE INCLUDES

Comfortable twin bedded room with, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, Community forest Park; Elephant back safari, Canoeing, Jungle walk, Elephant Breeding Center and Tharu stick dance.

PACKAGE EXCLUDES

Transportation, Expenses of personal nature like drinks, tips and program other than mentioned on the itinerary.

Children:
Children between 3-9 years will be charged 50% and children bellow 3 will be free.

Tour Leaders:
For group of 15 paying client's one group leader will be free. But activities fee and Govt. tax will be charged.

ITINERARY A.
Tentative programmer for 1 night/2 days.
Day 1:
Upon arrival at the resort, a reception followed by a welcome speech by our naturalist, refreshment and briefing of the program.
14.00 Lunch will be served at the resort.
14.30 Elephant back safari through open grassland & forest to look out for One-horned Rhino and other wild animal.
         Tharu Stick dance in the evening.
19.30 Dinner and briefing the program for next day.
         Overnight at the resort.
Day 2:
06.00 Wake up call for morning activities.
07.00 Visit for bird watching
08.00 Breakfast at the resort.
08.30 Departure

ITINERARY B.
Tentative Programme for 2 nights/3 days.
Day 1:
Upon arrival at the resort, a reception followed by a welcome speech by our naturalist, refreshment briefing of the programme and camp.
14.00 Lunch will be served at the resort.
16.00 Visit Tharu village and local community area
19.30 Dinner and briefing the programme for next day.
         Overnight at the resort.
Day 2:
06.00 Wake up call for morning activities.
07.00 Breakfast at the resort
07.30 Canoe ride for about 30 minutes in the Rapti River to see crocodiles
         (Marsh and Gharial) different kinds of bird and wild animal.
         Visit Elephant Breeding Center.
13.00 Lunch at the resort.
15.00 Elephant back safari through open grassland & forest to look out for One-horned Rhino and other wild animals.
         Tharu stick dance in the evening.
18.30 Nepalese buffet dinner.
         Overnight at the camp.

Day 3:
06.00 Wake up call & visit for bird watching.
08.00 Breakfast at the camp
08.30 Departure.

Optional activities:
- Jungle drive for about 4 to 5 hours up to Jungle Headquarter Kasara can be arranged for the group of 4 or more guest if they want to explore more about the wild life.
- Jungle hiking
- Cycling Tours
- Night stop at Machan inside the Jungle.
- Trekking to explore one of the most primitive people (Chepang, an ethic group) in the hilly area of Chitwan.

Given itinerary and rates are tentative and subject to change without any prior notice due to National Park policy and the weather condition but total quality of program remains unchanged even in case of alteration.

Note: Students are welcome to have a special tariff.
